Script hangs when running as a scheduled task

When I run a powershell script manually, no issue. When I schedule it, it just hangs and the status is "running"... for like 10, maybe 15 years.
Is there something I could put at the end of my script to force it to quit?
FYI: I know just enough to be dangerous.
