I created an add-on that is in the contest folder and was asked to add an item to the context 9or right click) menu in the editor to activate my add-on

I cannot find a method to add a menu item to the contexzt menu in the script editor.

Is this possible?

Not at the moment, no.  We have a number of features that we would like to get into an update for the SDK, this one being one of them.
