Shall I or shall I not install Powershell v2, even if it is a CTP version ?

There is no reason to install CTP versions. Grab Windows Management Framework which is version 2. Download URLs are available at http://microsoft.com/powershell.

Actually V2 has now been released in full, check the link below:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/968929

I use it all the time with PowerGUI and VESI and all works fine for me.  I would definately recommend it as there are loads of new cmdlets to play with and many more scripting features.
