Synopsis: The PowerGUIObjects PowerPack provides a simple way to explore PowerGUI objects such as the $host object for PowerGUI. The $host object is used to navigate PowerGUI and do things such as add a dynamic node.

How to install: 1. Download and Install the AdminConsole Module 1. Download the PowerGUIObjects.powerpack file that is attached to this article. 2. Open the PowerGUI admin console. 3. Select File | PowerPack Management to open the PowerPack Management dialog. 4. Click on the Import button to import the PowerPack. 5. Using the dialog that just opened, browse to the location where you downloaded the PowerGUIObjects.powerpack file and select that file. Click on the Open button to import the PowerGUIObjects into PowerGUI. 6. At this point the PowerPack is imported and you will have a "PowerGUIObjects" node in the Admin Console.
How to upgrade: 1. Open the PowerGUI admin console. 2. Select File | PowerPack Management to open the PowerPack Management dialog. 3. Select the PowerGUIHostObject PowerPack and click on Check for Updates. Then follow the prompts to upgrade your PowerPack. 4. At this point the PowerPack is upgraded and you will have a "Windows Server Roles and Features PowerPack" node in the Admin Console.
